Alphonso Davies’ agent warns Bayern Munich over their ongoing contract talks, with Real Madrid and Man City showing interest

Alphonso Davies’ agent warns Bayern Munich over their ongoing contract talks, with Real Madrid and Man City showing interest,Alphonso Davies’ agent Nick Huoseh claims there is a ‘lot of navigating to do’ in the defender’s contract negotiations with Bayern Munich, while he revealed he has spoken to other clubs about his client’s future.

Davies has a contract with the German champions until the summer of 2025, with talks having begun over an extension.

Huoseh told Canadian outlet The Sports Network that there had been no new developments, but said he had spoken to Bayern and other clubs.

‘There is a lot of navigating to do,’ Huoseh said.

‘I have spoken to other clubs – they have texted and spoken to us; but we haven’t had any in-depth conversations with anybody.

‘He is with Bayern Munich. He has two years remaining on his contract. We don’t know what will happen in a year from now.

‘He’s happy at Bayern. He’s won a number of titles at Bayern and they’re a good club, one of the top clubs in the world

‘There are not many clubs he can move to when you think about it. There are a select few clubs that an athlete like Alphonso Davies can go to.’

Reports emerged last month that Real Madrid have identified the 22-year-old as the perfect candidate to become their first choice left-back.

The Spanish giants are reportedly ready to rival Premier League champions Manchester City for the Canadian international’s signature.

Davies has played 153 matches for Bayern since joining the club in 2018, with the full-back securing five Bundesliga titles.

He was also a member of Bayern’s Champions League winning squad in 2020, while he has also lifted two German Cups.

Davies has played down speculation around his club future, with the defender focusing his efforts on helping the team.

‘The transfer rumours are out there, but at the end of the day they’re still rumours,’ Davies said.

‘I still have two years left at Bayern. My main goal is to play at Bayern and help the team as much as possible.’
