The primary prize at the eighth annual Rwanda International Movie Awards, was a 12-million-frw car, which given to Bahavu Jannet, a movie star, after he had been eyeing it for more than a month.
This car was handed as the primary prize in a ceremony held on Tuesday night, May 16, 2023 at the Ndoli Safaris office to the actor who won the Rwanda International Movie Awards organized by Ishuso Arts.
The journalists had been waiting for two hours for Bahavu to be given the car
It is a black Kia car manufactured by Hyundai factory and worth 12,500,000 million Frws. On the part of Ndoli Safaris Ltd, they had an agreement that the winner of this vehicle must advertise the company throughout the year by driving the current branded vehicle.
On Bahavu Jannet Usanase’s side, she was accompanied by Fleury, her husband took for two hours while waited to sign the contract.
The agreement initially caused some confusion as they had to sit down and revise some of the clauses.
According to the arrangement, Bahavu will drive the vehicle with Ndoli Safaris branding for a year.
According to Alliah Coll, the organizer of the Rwanda International Movie Awards, Ishuso Arts, “all things are resolved amicably.”
Bahavu received the keys and Carte Jaune of the car at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
