Rusesabagina Paul’s family has begun to act a bit after it was revealed that Rwanda and the United States of America are in negotiations that might result in his release.

His daughter Carine Kanimba in particular used to post messages on social media criticizing Rwanda, but it appears that she took a hiatus for a time.

Kanimba sent a post on social media ridiculing the Rwandan government with her followers after seeing her father released.

Along with the things she writes herself, she also retweets those who make fun of Rwanda, such Michael Wrong and other notoriously unrepentant people. Journalist Anjan Sundaram provides the latest update.

Carine Kanimba informed her readers about an opinion piece published by Sundaram in The New York Times on Tuesday morning, in which he claimed that Rwandan journalists are being threatened, driven from their jobs, or even assassinated.

Among the messages is one stating that Rwandans who disagree with the government are imprisoned and later discovered dead.

In his book “Bad News: Last Journalists in a Dictatorship,” Sundaram contends that the Rwandan government does not respect or grant independence to the media.

It is the first book that has drawn criticism from individuals who assert to have given evidence against him since it demonstrates how he misled them and said things they did not tell him.

Those who support Kayumba Nyamwasa’s RNC and other opponents of the Rwandan government frequently mention Sundaram in their conversations, and it is rumored that the terrorist organization pays him to disparage Rwanda.

Kanimba, who recently saw her father, who was imprisoned in Rwanda, ignored the kindness given to her father despite the serious crimes he was accused of.

She made the choice to condemn Rwanda for oppressing the opposition, while her father was able to safely return home.

Before Rusesabagina was released, President Kagame said that Rwanda and Rwandans do not have an evil hearts because of the compassion shown to people who perpetrated supernatural crimes like the Genocide.

The pardon of Paul Rusesabagina and the accused by the Head of the Nation quickly became apparent, and the Cabinet meeting confirmed it.

Even though he had sent an apologetic letter, it was likely that it would not be accepted, and he would continue to be imprisoned. Only Rwanda had meetings with the United States, with the State of Qatar present, in an effort to resolve its issue since it was a difficulty in their bilateral relationship.

According to reports, Jake Sullivan, President Biden’s national security adviser, oversaw the negotiations on behalf of the US.
