Kevin Monnet-Paquet in Rwanda national team(Amavubi)

Kevin Monnet-Paquet in Rwanda national team(Amavubi).

Rwandans will soon be able to see striker Kevin Monnet Paquet wearing the Amavubi national team kit, according to Carlos Alós Ferrer, the squad’s coach.

It is after his trip to Cyprus, where the 34-year-old striker plays for Aris Limassol, where he watched the game yesterday after they were defeated by AEK Larnaca.

Carlos Alós Ferrer, who shared a photo with Rwandans with this striker who has not played this game and it is difficult these days to get a chance to play, said that in the coming days he will play for Amavubi.

“Have a nice trip to Cyprus and meet Kevin Monnet-Paquet, who I hope will help us in the near future.”

After being denied the chance to play for France, Kevin Monnet Paquet declared in 2019 that he was prepared to represent the Rwandan national team.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, when Mashami Vincent, who was the coach of the national team, called the players who will play in the Cape Verde game in search of a ticket for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, he first called this midfielder who played for Saint Etienne in France .

Kevin Monnet Paquet, who remains playing for Aris Limassol of Cyprus, did not participate in the invitation of the national team and it was said that he was not happy with the media coverage that he does not deserve to be called up because he is old and refused to play for Rwanda when he was young and strong.
