The former cast member of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” revealed her pregnancy with husband Travis Barker during a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles on June 16. Kourtney, aged 44, displayed a sign that said “Travis I’m Pregnant” in a video they shared on Instagram together. They later celebrated the news with a kiss, marking a new chapter in their relationship.
This pregnancy comes one year after Kourtney, the founder of Poosh, married Travis in Italy, surrounded by their loved ones. The wedding, which took place in May 2022, was their third exchange of vows. Initially, they had a Las Vegas ceremony in April, but without a marriage license. They later made their marriage legal at a courthouse in Santa Barbara, California, with Kourtney’s grandma Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell and Travis’s dad Randy Barker as witnesses.
Now, as they prepare to welcome their baby, Kourtney and Travis embark on this new journey together. Fans of their Hulu show, “The Kardashians,” have witnessed their desire to have a child. Kourtney already has three children, Mason Disick (13), Penelope Disick (10), and Reign Disick (8), from her previous relationship with Scott Disick. The couple had been pursuing IVF treatments to conceive, but Kourtney shared in a May 25 episode of “The Kardashians” that they have decided to conclude that path. Kourtney expressed her faith in God’s plan, stating that if having a baby is meant for them, it will happen.
This mindset has been Kourtney’s belief for some time now. In December, during a podcast appearance, she emphasized the importance of timing in her relationship with Travis. She acknowledged the challenges of IVF, both physically and mentally, and expressed that the process did not align with her personal preferences.
Their love story blossomed from being neighbors in the Calabasas neighborhood. As their relationship transitioned from friendship to romance, it made perfect sense to Kourtney and Travis. According to a source close to Kourtney, Travis’ children have embraced their relationship and are delighted to see their father in love.
Alabama, in particular, has formed a close bond with Kourtney, seeking her advice and support. Their relationship has been a great fit for everyone involved.
Since officially becoming a couple in February 2021, Kourtney and Travis have enjoyed various trips to the California desert, Utah, and Disneyland, along with frequent date nights at Nobu in Malibu.
