kishishe leader and his daughter were killed accused of being M23 undercovers
The leader of the Kishishe area RUHUMURIZA and his daughter were killed by FRDC forces on April 12 accused to accept the M23 forces that are said to have arrived in the area.
In order to handle the security of the locals, it was often assumed that the military of the East African Community would promptly occupy the regions where the M23 rebels retreated from.
Due to choices made by the heads of states, the M23 rebels were forced to withdraw from the territories they had controlled, and as a result, the FDLR and Nyatura insurgents started attacking the locals in those areas accused them for hosting M23.
Nevertheless, despite these intentions, the rebels continue to infiltrate the M23 group-controlled regions, attack the locals, and plunder their possessions.
When M23 came in Masisi, they were allegedly welcomed, and this inspired the troops of Srikov to assassinate RUHUMURIZA and his daughter.
People adored, welcomed, and gave the M23 rebels permission to stay because they started returning the livestock that other rebels had taken from people when they arrived in those regions.
Because the M23 rebels invaded the territory he governed, that is why the FRDC assassinated the leader and his oldest daughter.
