Everton In Talks With Manchester United To Sign Anthony Elanga

Everton have entered talks with Manchester United over the signing of Anthony Elanga, says a new report. Everton have long standing interest in the winger and now negotiations are underway.

We reported here on The Transfer Room just days ago that Everton were stepping up their interest in the player. The Toffees now seem the most likely destination for the talent this summer.

Elanga is a great talent whose development was slowed down drastically. The Swedish international was thrown in at the deep end and overplayed by United during their troubled times over the past few seasons.

A player who now deserves the chance to shine and make an impact at a new home. Elanga wants and deserves the chance to reinvent himself at a new club.

Everton In Talks To Sign Anthony Elanga

According to a new report from Everton source El Bobble via Fabrizio Romano, Everton and United are in talks. The full report states the following;

“Negotiations are taking place between Everton and Manchester United to sign Anthony Elanga. Talks on. There are many clubs interested in him but Everton are now favourites.”

United could receive a decent fee for the winger. Factor in his ability to perform in the Premier League as well as being an established international footballer.
