Fixtures over the festive period can be season-defining in the Premier League season, with several matches being played over a short span of time.Premier League Boxing Day fixtures schedule
This season, however, there are some significant changes. Firstly, the games on Boxing Day will mark the return of the Premier League after a six-week absence as a result of the 2022 World Cup being played in Qatar.
Despite many managers previously complaining about fixtures congestion during the holidays, there will still be a total of three matchdays taking place over the festive period.
One round of games will take place around Boxing Day (Dec. 26-28), with the other two rounds taking place on each side of New Year’s Day: ten matches from Dec. 30-Jan. 1 and ten matches from Jan. 2-5.
In total, 30 Premier League matches will be played in 11 days.
Here’s a look at all of the games over the holiday season.
