Jolly Mutesi biography,Height & Life Story

Jolly Mutesi has Height 1.75m,was born on 15 November 1996 in Kasese district, in the Republic of Uganda. She is the last-born in a family of six children ; three boys and three girls. Jolly was born to Immaculate Ingabire and late Sylver Serwili

Jolly Mutesi  went to Pickhill Nursery School and then Hima Primary School (from P1 to P5) in Uganda. She then moved to Rwanda for her last year of primary. She attended Kagarama Secondary School for her ordinary-level secondary education before going to King David Academy, where she graduated a diploma in the combination of History, Economics and Literature.

Mutesi Jolly  spent two years studying at the University of Rwanda at the CBE department  of busness Management at Mburabuturo, where she started in August 2017, but she left there she went to Makerere University

Miss Jolly hold Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Makerere University on the 17th of January 2020.

Jolly was elected Miss Rwanda on 27 February 2016. She was the first beauty queen to represent Rwanda at the Miss World competition in 2016 thus rising the county’s flag high by hitting the top 24 beauty with a purpose at the global scene.

She was first accused of bleaching her skin, an act that she vehemently denied and during her job as one of the judges at the following Miss Rwanda contests she was accused of being ‘harsh’ to the contestants during the Q&A pre-selection stages- raising a social media debate on many platforms.

The person who she really was didn’t have a good mix in public soon after she handed over her crown to Elsa Iradukunda in 2017.

She loves giving back to the society and patriotism, she says, is embedded within her.she was the award winner of the best female celebrity influencer of the year 2019. Besides, she is also a motivational speaker as she says she was given to give

 

In 2021, she was one of the organizers of regional beauty pageant Miss East Africa which held in Tanzania

Jolly spearheads a national “inter-generation dialogue” through which she sensitizes the norms and values of Rwandan culture, promoting patriotism and peace. She now goes to the University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics, doing Finance. During her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to country music. She speaks Kinyarwanda ,English and 3 Ugandan languages i.e Rutooro,Luganda , kinyankole
